This is a Beautiful solid wood Mahogany Finish 8 Sided ~
 Octagon Box 
... with hinged lid. Box measures approx. 7.25" by 7.25" and 2.75" tall.  The finish is gorgeous!  

The Box Lid has an opening to display  a 4" Round design and is covered with Glass ~  either needlepoint, cross stitch, crewel or a cherished photograph would fit beautifully.
Interior of box is lined in a soft beige fabric and box has a Mirror on the inside of the lid.  Box sits on 4 Brass Ball Feet.
